Reverend Andrew Sweeney came into school today and delivered a lovely Harvest Assembly.
He talked about where all the ingredients of a pizza were grown in the world and how amazing God’s creation is.
He encouraged the children to look for the “Fair trade” symbol on food products and choose products from developing countries where the workforce are not being exploited and are being paid a fair wage.
He asked the children to think about those less fortunate than themselves.
